Sisters Johanna and Klara Soderberg began composing songs as teenagers in their hometown of Enskede and formed the duo First Aid Kit in 2007. Their self-recorded track “Tangerine” received airplay on Swedish radio that summer and their debut EP Drunken Trees was released the following year. The Big Black and Blue, the sisters’ first full-length album was released in 2010 and they were soon after requested to record a single at Third Man Studios by Jack White. Their blue series single “Universal Soldier” featuring the B Side “It Hurts Me Too” is available now.
